North Raleigh Residence #2

The reincarnation of this 70s house required stripping away the many layers of the trendy makeovers. Palettes of teal, mauve, and grey gave way to warm taupes, browns, rust and burgundy. Natural materials like travertine, iron and wood connect the interior with the wooded property outside. Furnishings were selected for their streamlined designs to create sophisticated yet comfortable spaces for entertaining friends and day-to-day living.

Wrightsville Beach Residence

With an exceptional view of the changing tides, this vacation residence is the perfect setting for years of family gatherings in the sun, sand, and surf. Natural ocean colors are inspired by water, sky, beach glass, sun, and sand. Beach themes are subtly used except for the son’s tiki surf hut and the daughter’s mermaid adventure bedrooms – stirring the imagination of these young beach combers.

North Raleigh Residence #1

This quaint cottage was resurrected to update and expand the living areas for this active family. Two gourmet cooks and large family gatherings required a spacious kitchen with lots of natural light and views of the surrounding woods and pond. An eclectic mix of materials and design details evoke a vintage feel with all of the modern amenities. The expanded master bath incorporates natural cherry, limestone, and glass tile are presented against a blue sky – a backdrop for a relaxing spa getaway. Custom tile insets by Marina Bosetti were commissioned for the kitchen and bath to reflect scenes from the surrounding woods and gardens.

Raleigh Residence (Inner Beltline) #1

This remodeling project was required to accommodate the growing needs and refined taste of this active family. The complete interior and exterior renovation improved the overall aesthetic quality and functionality of the home. The additions included: New family/media room, a wine room, snack bar, home office, master sitting room, exercise room, and exterior room, and exterior terrace.

Goldsboro Residence

This project involved the design remodeling for a kitchen area untouched from the original construction of the house in the late 1970's. The owners desired a more up-to-date contemporary kitchen with improved function, lighting, appliances, finishes and style. New maple custom cabinets were designed integrating a 4 inch, rail and stile design with a flush inset panel. Stainless steel appliances were selected as well as plumbing fixtures and elongated horizontal stainless steel door and drawer pulls, which accentuated the vertical design of the cabinets.

Raleigh Residence (Inner Beltline) #2

An extensive remodeling of a former kitchen and family dining area into a larger, updated entertaining space. Hand-glazed custom cabinets and exposed reclaimed beamed ceilings were designed to complement the French character of the home.

Pittsboro Residence

A private residence designed to resemble a Rocky Mountain home with post and beam construction and an amazing view of the five-acre property. The interior was designed to complement the architecture of the house by using natural materials such as cherry wood and slate stone. Special features included a custom-designed fireplace.

Bald Head Island Residence

This home, located on Bald Head Island, North Carolina, was planned as a part-time residence for a young family. They desired a contemporary interior for the home without the expected typical beach motifs. With the complete trust of the homeowner, all interior construction details, cabinets, lighting, finishes, furniture, and accessories were selected, installed, and detailed before final viewing by the family.

Dunn Residence

This remodeling of a 1930s kitchen and butler’s pantry was created from two separate smaller spaces, which were inadequate and did not work well for family use. The new kitchen, designed with custom cherry cabinets and granite countertops, incorporates a large cooking area, work island, and built-in banquette seating.

Wake Forest Residence

The interior of this 5000-square-foot home was designed for a young family who desired an elegant yet comfortable interior to enjoy with their family and friends. Interior design and decoration included selection of all wallcoverings, custom draperies, furnishings, artwork, and accessory items.
